Asked what she sees in the mirror at age 70, the externally introspective singer told Maria Shriver, “I see Cher, but I’m never satisfied. I’ve never been in love with Cher.” Sounding more like a casual Moonstruck viewer than a resident of her own corporeal form, the student of third-person narration continued: “She’s alright, but I’m not a huge fan … I’m not a Cher fan.” Oh, Cher, are you sure you even are Cher and not, say, Tai? Because those words were way harsh.
