We’re all very excited to see Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, Mindy Kaling, and more star in Ocean’s 8, the female reboot of Ocean’s 11, but Mindy Kaling is mostly just scared. See, if you’re the first or second lead in a heist movie, then you get to do cool stuff like break into safes and rappel down the sides of casinos, but if you’re the fourth or fifth lead, then you have to be the kooky distraction that’s attacked by security dogs. Of course, Kaling probably already has a script, so this could all be a smokescreen to hide the fact that she’s secretly the villain. Yeah, be adorable all you want, Mindy. That lollipop isn’t fooling us.
