It might be condescending to say that they still got it, but … look, they still got it. Mick and the Harmonica Gang kicked off the first night of Indio, California’s Desert Trip, or to use the festival nickname every performer must absolutely hate, Oldchella with a full-energy cover of the Beatles’ “Come Together,” a song Rolling Stone claims the Stones have never covered before. They say hips don’t lie, but they also apparently don’t age. If you want to see Mick Jagger shake it like it’s the very first time it’s been shaken, it looks like you still have plenty of time to make it happen for yourself.
