Girls with Brown Hair, Sam Reece and Becky Chicoine, are at it again with a tampon video that’s perfect. Now, I realize we’ve said that before, touting the merits of every “tampon sound effects” piece that crosses our big blog plate, but this one’s the real deal. Again, Reece and Chicoine demonstrate their rare command of razor sharp social commentary, musical prowess, and production detail on a budget I’m betting was pretty bare bones, given the outlet (Refinery 29’s new comedy channel, RIOT). Commercial parodies are some of the hardest to pull off on a shoestring, and this one – with just 631 views at the time of writing – deserves some more looks.
