Florence Henderson, known for playing Mrs. Brady on the late-1960s/early-1970s sitcom The Brady Bunch, died Thursday of heart failure. She was 82. In a statement to the Associated Press, Henderson’s manager, Kayla Pressman, said “she died surrounded by family and friends.” While she was most well-known for her iconic role as Über-positive matriarch Carol Brady, Henderson was a multitalented performer and appeared on variety shows, sitcoms, and cooking shows, often playing herself. She also made a memorable turn in the 2010 season of Dancing With the Stars. Her last listed television appearance was in the Disney series K.C. Undercover, earlier this year.
