We don’t have to wait 20 years for this particular Hamilton experience. Lin-Manuel Miranda announced this morning that the long-gestating Hamilton Mixtape is not only finished, but it’ll be available for pre-order tomorrow, November 4, with a planned December 2 release date. Miranda has kept a very tight lid on the project’s details, only divulging that it would feature remixes, covers, and other songs inspired by the smash musical. But now we’re privy to the highly eclectic track listing — for a taste, Usher is tackling “Wait for It,” Chance the Rapper and Francis and the Lights are taking on “Dear Theodosia (Reprise),” Kelly Clarkson is lending her voice to “It’s Quiet Uptown,” while Sia, Miguel, and Queen Latifah are handling “Satisfied.” And the best news is, we won’t have spend over $500 to hear it. See the track list below.
