After spending months on the campaign trail with Hillary Clinton, Lena Dunham has strong opinions about both the Democratic nominee and about celebrities like herself expressing strong opinions. This morning she released a Funny or Die video called “Sensual Pantsuit Anthem,” which she wrote and stars in (along with Cynthia Erivo and Charlamagne the God), that’s meant to capture those feelings.
“Of course we should all be doing our part, but is this the smartest way that we can be going about it?” she asked about celebrity PSAs in an exclusive interview with Vulture. “It was fun to do something that played with the idea with who’s allowed to say what and how are they allowed to say it.”
