If you’re more nostalgic for John Mayer’s easy-listening Room for Squares pop-rock days than his more recent folksy Paradise Valley output, his new single “Love on the Weekend” might just do the trick. After teasing his first song in over two years last week, Mayer dropped the track during a Facebook Live session this afternoon. For the full album experience, though, you’re going to have to wait until an undisclosed date next year, giving you plenty of time to listen to his popular Police and Tom Petty live covers in the meantime.
