New Girl co-executive producers Matt Fusfeld, Alex Cuthbertson, and Jake Kasdan are working on a new comedy at Fox. According to Deadline, the network is developing a series written by Fusfeld and Cuthbertson tentatively titled Missing American Woman, which follows “a sheltered girl who’s never worked a day in her life. When she goes missing after a shipwreck, she embraces the opportunity to start her life over, working at a remote resort with a crew of slackers and weirdos.” Missing American Woman joins a list of other comedies in development at Fox from Ian Brennan, Diablo Cody, The Lonely Island, Carter Bays, Craig Thomas, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Jake Johnson, and Damon Wayans Jr.
