While we know a few, mostly casting-related bits about Stranger Things’ second season, its plot is a pretty big question mark. And according to producer Shawn Levy, it’s going to stay that way. Asked by ScreenRant for some glimpses into the Netflix phenomenon’s sophomore season, Levy explained: “I’m going to be very judicious when it comes to talking about Stranger Things, because I live in the land of spoiler paranoia these days.” Levy credited the close-lipped policy with a good chunk of Stranger Things’ massive success, noting, “Look, as much as people are dying to know what happened, I think the reason Stranger Things has become the phenomenon it has is because no one knew what was coming.” He added, “Much like The Force Awakens, I think there’s this delicious torture in not knowing.” All of which is to say, will you please, for the love of all that is precious in this life, stop asking about the plans to avenge Barb already?
