ABC Orders ‘Libby & Malcolm’ Pilot Starring Felicity Huffman and Courtney B. Vance

ABC has a new show in the works from Black-ish’s Kenya Barris and Vijal Patel. According to Variety, the network has given a pilot order to a single-cam comedy starring Felicity Huffman and Courtney B. Vance called Libby & Malcolm. The series is described as “a blended family show about two polar-opposite political pundits who fall in love despite all odds and form an insta-family, as well as a work partnership,” with Huffman playing a “strong, brilliant, white Republican” and Vance playing “a liberal pundit and father of three kids who arms himself with cold hard facts and an irresistible easy charm that wins over everyone he meets.”
