Alan Thicke has died. TMZ was the first to report the news, saying the 69-year-old suffered a heart attack while playing hockey with his youngest son earlier today. He was taken to a nearby hospital, but pronounced dead upon arrival, and Thicke’s publicist has since confirmed his death to the Los Angeles Times. The Canadian-born actor became a beloved American TV dad thanks to Growing Pains, and recently appeared in a cameo role on This Is Us and on the Netflix revival series Fuller House. A tweet was even posted to his account earlier today promoting season two of the latter show. Thicke is survived by his wife, Tanya, and his sons — “Blurred Lines” singer Robin, Brennan, and Carter.
