Alec Baldwin Offers to Trade Saturday Night Live Gig for Donald Trump’s Tax Returns

Just as sure as a Saturday Night Live cold open about America’s president-elect will elicit a tweet-storm from Donald Trump, so, too, will there be a response from his impersonator, and main tormentor, Alec Baldwin. After Saturday’s episode, in which Baldwin’s Trump couldn’t stop tweeting, the real Donald Trump posted on Twitter that SNL was “unwatchable! Totally biased, not funny and the Baldwin impersonation just can’t get any worse. Sad.” Baldwin, who in the past responded to Trump by calling for the president-elect to focus on “improving our reputation abroad” among other things, offered Trump a pretty fair trade. Baldwin replied on Saturday, “Release your tax returns and I’ll stop.” As John Oliver would say, “Take the deal, Donald!” See the post below.
