Variety reports that last night’s season 23 premiere of ANTM racked up 1.7 million viewers, besting its last five season debuts on the CW and suggesting the show’s switch to VH1 might have been just the boost the series needed. The new ANTM’s numbers were equivalent to the hit series premiere of Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party back in November.
