Colin Quinn is working on a new comedy pilot. According to Deadline, Quinn has teamed up with Jax Media – the production company behind shows like Full Frontal, Search Party, and Broad City – to film a pilot for an ensemble comedy he wrote called Luncheonette, which began production today. Quinn stars in the pilot as an ex-cop named Eddie, “who runs a quintessential New York coffee shop with a staff as diverse as the Queens borough they’ve all found themselves in.” Jax Media is also behind a weekly comedy news show hosted by Robin Thede currently in development, which taped its pilot episode last month.
