There’s no more space for Reign to fall on your TV screen. The CW announced today that the soapy costume drama will end after its fourth season, which will start airing this February. The news that the network is reining in Reign isn’t too much of a surprise to its writers, according to Variety, which reports that the show’s staff will have time to give “a real conclusion to the story of Mary Queen of Scots.” Of course, in real life, the real conclusion was beheading, so let’s hope it goes a little better this time.
