Robert Kelly might be getting his own show at FX. According to Deadline, the network has put into development a half-hour comedy starring Kelly and produced by Denis Leary’s company Apostle that’s inspired by Kelly’s “recent life experiences beating several addictions, though he still struggles with his dependency on food.” The show “picks up when Kelly’s compulsive habits cause him to lose the things most important to him, which thrusts him into a journey to find happiness and purpose.” Kelly will serve as a co-executive producer alongside Denis Leary and co-writers Jim Serpico and Tom Sellitti.
