Kanye Really Wants You (and Himself) to Believe He’s Good Friends With Donald Trump

Real friends are hard to come by, so if you’ve made even just one, and he’s the next leader of the free world, you’ve gotta humblebrag for just a second, right? So goes the thought process of Kanye West, who, apparently unsatisfied with just a photo-op and chat about “life” with President-elect Donald Trump, has more proof for you. On Wednesday, Kanye added insult to injury and shared a photo of an issue of Trump’s Person of the Year Time cover which Trump personally signed for his “great” — not just “good”! — pal Yeezus, despite the lack of evidence of said friendship ever actually existing prior to now. Or perhaps what we’re really seeing at the bottom of Trump’s brief note is not his signature but a copy of a lie-detector reading gone haywire. We invite you to spot the difference.
