If you need to cast a character who looks like he could beat the shit out of you, why not cast someone who could actually beat the shit out of everyone? In an interview with Fox Sports, which was picked up by TMZ, UFC president Dana White revealed that mixed martial artist Conor McGegor is making an appearance on Game of Thrones. “I knew that a few months ago that they were interested in putting him in the show,” White said. “I’m glad he did it. It’ll be great.” White didn’t elaborate further on McGregor’s role, and HBO told Vulture that they do not comment on casting rumors. But we can definitely assume that McGregor will play a very intimidating character with possibly violent tendencies, which, in the world of Westeros, doesn’t narrow down the list of possibilities at all.
