Aaron Carter was reportedly attacked during a gig on Friday night after a dispute with a fellow musician escalated when Carter allegedly made a racist remark. According to TMZ, Carter had a member of opening act ILL State kicked out of the venue for filming Carter and otherwise engaging in distracting behavior during Carter’s performance. As security was removing the Latinx musician, Carter reportedly yelled after him, “Bye Felipe,” a stereotypical play on “Bye Felicia.” In response, TMZ says the musician reentered the bar and attacked Carter, damaging his computer and a speaker and ultimately sending Carter, bloody, to the emergency room. Police are looking into the incident.
