Little did the world know how much it needed a remake of Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock’s “It Takes Two” until now. Step into a time machine (manufactured and sold at Target, apparently) as ’80s queen Carly Rae Jepsen and Lil Yachty (who wasn’t alive in the ‘80s, but don’t hold it against him) take us back a few decades for their take on the karaoke standard. The full video for their cover premiered in a commercial for Target during the Grammys, and it’s a red-color-palette fantasyland in which Carly attempts to rap, no matter how many takes that took.
