Battlestar Galactica’s Commander Bill Adama has found a new ship, or in this case motorcycle show, to helm. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Edward James Olmos will star in the upcoming Sons of Anarchy spinoff Mayans MC. In the series, Olmos will play Felipe Reyes, who is described as a father with a mysterious past “crushed by bullets and labor” who is “struggling” to keep his grown sons righteous and lawful. Presumably his efforts toward good behavior will quickly go astray by the pilot’s end, since the Mayans MC are a motorcycle gang generally causing all sorts of trouble — but hey, at least they aren’t Cylons.
