How sure is Lady Gaga that her duet with Metallica at tonight’s Grammy Awards is going to be amazing? The Super Bowl LI halftime star is so confident in her collaboration with the heavy-metal band that she has already immortalized the performance on her back with a massive tattoo. Gaga posted on Instagram a photo of the new ink — a giant moth with a skull face — and the caption “The Moth & Metallica.” The tattoo pays tribute to Metallica song “Moth Into Flame” from the band’s 2016 album Hardwired … to Self-Destruct. As Billboard points out, despite the diva’s use of the hashtags #ink and #tattoo, the moth might actually be a fake or semipermanent design, but like mindless flying insects, we’ve been drawn to the bright shininess of celebrity Instagrams.
