Here’s a clip from last night’s Daily Show, where correspondent Roy Wood Jr. tries to get a break from his job covering all the terrible Donald Trump news by heading to this year’s Super Bowl Media Day, where he got the opportunity to transition from covering politics to sports. Unfortunately for Wood, covering politics is in his blood, so even when he tries his best to keep his questions for the NFL players unrelated to Trump (with hard-hitting questions like “Do you play football?” and “Do you like playing football?”), at the end of the day, he can’t escape his life’s true calling.
