Alert Malia Obama: Chance the Rapper Will Finally Headline Lollapalooza

Some festivals catch on later than the Grammys, but finally the moment has arrived: Chance the Rapper will headline his hometown Chicago’s biggest festival, this year’s Lollapalooza, along with Arcade Fire, the Killers, and Muse. (Because nothing’s changed since Chance was a teenager, apparently.) Chano was last on the lineup in 2014 (and delivered a headliner-worthy performance), but crashed the festival last year. The festival will once again be four days instead of three – a new trend it started last year – and run August 3-6. Other notables on the lineup you can either catch at Lolla or any other festival on earth this summer: Lorde, the xx, Justice, Blink-182, Ryan Adams, Migos, Big Sean, and Run the Jewels. But also Liam Gallagher. On behalf of everyone, we’d like to thank Malia Obama for personally making Lolla give Chance a chance.
