Jill Soloway is making her next move against the patriarchy with a new limited series for Amazon. Through her Topple Productions banner, Deadline reports that Soloway will produce a drama about an all-female rodeo formed in a small Texas town during World War II. In further news befitting Women’s History Month, the show is being written by Cassie Pappas, who has previously worked on series like Tyrant and Hostages. It will also be developed as a part of Topple’s overall deal with Amazon. Together with the company, Soloway has produced Transparent and the show I Love Dick, and is also developing film projects, like the upcoming adaptation of Cynthia D’Aprix Sweeney’s novel The Nest.
