In news seemingly sent from a secret boyfriend dream vault in Hollywood, Variety is reporting that Joseph Gordon-Levitt is in talks to direct Wingmen, the “R-rated musical comedy” he joined last year with co-star Channing Tatum. The project, which was conceived of by Gordon-Levitt and writer Michael Bacall (21 Jump Street), is in early development, but we’ve already been able to fantasize about it for some time. If Gordon-Levitt does take up the director’s mantle, it will be only his second time in that role — the first was 2013’s Don Jon, co-starring Scarlett Johansson.
