Get ready for another last four words, because more Gilmore Girls episodes could be on their way to Netflix. Netflix’s Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos told U.K.’s Press Association that he’s been in “preliminary” talks with the show’s creators. “The worst thing is to wait a couple of years for your favorite show to come back and for it to disappoint you,” Sarandos said. “But they sure delivered and people were really excited about more, and we have been talking to them about the possibility of that.” Where you lead, we will follow, Ted Sarandos!
The original series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive producer Dan Palladino launched the Netflix series Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life toward the end of last year, and Sherman-Palladino previously stated that she “wasn’t going to say no” to the possibility of even more episodes. The only question we have for Ted is, when is Netflix going to launch a publishing division so we can read a real copy of Rory’s book? You know that would sell.
