The wild winds of fortune have damn near knocked Terry Gilliam asunder, but 17 years of glory-chasing may finally pay off for the director. According to Indiewire, filming on The Man Who Killed Don Quixote began this week. The original 2000 production was initially besieged by enough calamitous events to make Miguel de Cervantes weary, spawning the 2002 making-of documentary Lost in La Mancha. Destiny called again and hung up once more when a 2016 effort dissipated due to cash-flow problems. Now, though, The Man Who Killed Don Quixote is underway with Adam Driver as the lead. A hat tip goes to Disney for spurring this Knight of the Mirrors moment into fruition.
