Proving that truly nobody in the Bachelor franchise is immune to producer manipulation, next season’s Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay got a live on-air surprise last night at the end of The Bachelor’s After the Final Rose live special. Once newly engaged couple Nick and Vanessa had left the stage, host Chris Harrison brought the civil defense litigation attorney and first black Bachelorette out for a final surprise: Her season technically starts right now. But before Lindsay could fully panic or imagine that she was about to be thrown in a limo and taken directly to Bachelor Mansion without getting to say good-bye to the outside world, Chris Harrison instead brought a taste of the show to her, parading out four men who will appear on her season to give brief introductions.
