Paul Reiser and David Steven Simon’s upcoming Seeso show There’s…Johnny! doesn’t debut on the streaming network until late August, but ahead of its Tribeca Film Festival premiere tonight, a teaser of the series was released today. Ordered to series last year, the show is set backstage at Johnny Carson’s Tonight Show in 1972 and follows two young staffers “as they both try to find their way and prove themselves in this period of cultural and political upheaval.” Ian Nelson, Jane Levy, Roger Bart, T’keyah Keymah, and Tony Danza star in the series, which premieres Thursday, August 24th.
