In January it was announced that Full Frontal host Samantha Bee was planning an alternative event to this year’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner, and today TBS released the first promo for the special. Titled the Not the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, the special will air from DC’s Hinckley Hilton the same night as the regular WHCD – Saturday, April 29th at 10:00pm – and all the proceeds from the event will go to the Committee to Protect Journalists.
