IFC has given a season 2 renewal to Brockmire ahead of its official series premiere tonight. The network announced today that the show, which stars Hank Azaria and is produced by Funny or Die, will return in 2018 with an eight-episode second season. The show was given a series order last year, and the network made the series premiere available on VOD, IFC.com, and FunnyOrDie.com ahead of tonight’s official premiere at 10:00pm. “This show is the most fun I’ve ever had. Well, the most fun I’ve ever had while working, anyway,” Azaria said on the news. “It is truly my favorite thing I’ve ever done. Well, while being filmed, that is. Thanks to IFC for letting us do whatever we wanted to. Well, mostly.”
