Kevin Hart and T.I. Developing ‘The Studio’ Comedy Series at Showtime

Kevin Hart and rapper/actor Tip “T.I.” Harris are developing a television comedy series together. According to Deadline, the two are co-executive producing a music comedy series in development at Showtime called The Studio, which “will chronicle the day-to-day and night-to-night antics that happen in a music recording studio, the people who work in this very unorthodox office place, and the conversations you have when your peak work hours are from midnight to six AM.” The project is written by Aeysha Carr (Everybody Hates Chris, The Carmichael Show), and if it lands a series order, both Hart and T.I. are expected to make “occasional guest appearances.” Hart also kicks off his book tour next week for his new memoir I Can’t Make This Up, which hits stores next Tuesday.
