Fox has a new single-cam comedy in the works. According to Variety, the network has given a put-pilot commitment to an untitled comedy from Billy Finnegan, and the logline for the show doesn’t give away much: “Girl meets boy, boy very much doesn’t notice. Girl meets bus, boy notices… sort of.” (If that doesn’t help, The Hollywood Reporter describes it as a “bus accident rom-com,” so there’s that.) Finnegan is currently a writer for Netflix’s Grace and Frankie and also has credits on The Real O’Neals, Bad Teacher, and Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23. Khan is also developing a comedy for Fox with Michael Showalter called Revival, which was announced last week.
