At the end of June, legendary Mobb Deep rapper Prodigy was hospitalized in Las Vegas for complications connected to his sickle cell anemia. He died shortly after being admitted, and voices from across the entire hip-hop community mourned the rapper over social media. Now, according to TMZ, the cause of death has finally been determined, with the Clark County Medical Examiner’s ruling it a death by accidental choking. Prodigy was just 42 years old.
