Amazon has a few new comedy projects in development, including a new series starring frequent SNL collaborators Fred Armisen and Maya Rudolph. According to Deadline, the streaming network has given a series order to an untitled, half-hour, single-cam series co-created by Alan Yang and Matt Hubbard with Armisen and Rudolph attached to star and co-executive produce. Not a whole lot is known about the plot, but Armisen and Rudolph reportedly play a married couple on the show.
In addition to the Armisen/Rudolph series, Amazon also ordered a single-camera comedy pilot from Greg Daniels called Upload as well as a multi-cam pilot from How I Met Your Mother’s Carter Bays and Craig Thomas called Making Friends, which is produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.
