Amy Poehler has another TV comedy project in the works. According to The Hollywood Reporter, NBC has given a put-pilot commitment to an untitled family comedy executive produced by Poehler and written by New Girl writer/producer Kim Rosenstock that centers on “a newly single mother who is forced to rely on the last people she wants help from: her family.” In addition to Rosenstock’s show, Poehler is also behind an animated comedy in development at Fox from Mike and Julie Scully as well as an untitled Netflix comedy starring Natasha Lyonne, which received a series order last month.
