Unfortunately – and like their last Tonight Show appearance – Early and Berlant let the thrill of the moment get to them, and the pressure that comes with a gig like a Tonight Show holiday gift segment ultimately turns them against each other: “Do not drag Jimmy into this, John. Do not!”
