Here’s a clip from last night’s Full Frontal, where Samantha Bee recaps the recent sexual harassment and assault allegations that have hit the world of TV journalism and exposed people like Charlie Rose, Matt Lauer, Mark Halperin, and Geraldo Rivera for the sexist, disgusting creeps they really are. But prior to the allegations against them, Bee notes that most of these men were powerful forces driving the political narrative during the presidential campaign season who seemed less interested in covering all the sexual assault allegations against Trump and more interested in Hillary Clinton’s email scandal – or criticizing her for being “shrill” and “guarded.” “We’ll never know how much these pubes affected the election, but what we do know is that their industry gave us four times more coverage of Hillary’s email scandal than they did of Trump’s gross behavior to women. But to be fair, they were probably typing it with one hand,” Bee says. “Look, I’m not saying men shouldn’t talk in public anymore, I’m just saying maybe women shouldn’t listen. It shouldn’t be too hard – we have decades of practice not being listened to.”
