Justin Bieber Will Spare Us His Bad Spanish by Reportedly Skipping the Grammys

Though Justin Bieber is up for two of the night’s biggest awards at this year’s Grammys for his small contribution to “Despacito,” he won’t be on hand to overshadow Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee. TMZ reports that Biebs plans to skip the show for a second consecutive year (he no-showed last year, despite being up for Album of the Year). It’s not necessarily because he was advised against further insulting the Spanish language on a national stage by blah-blah-blahing his way through another performance of the song. He’s apparently just too focused on finishing his next album. In fact, he reportedly won’t be making any awards show appearances until it’s done. Fonsi and Daddy Yankee are set to perform “Despacito” at the Grammys, thankfully, in peace.
