Ricky Gervais has two standup specials heading to Netflix. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the streaming network has bought the rights to Gervais’s next standup special, following last month’s news that Netflix would debut a special from Gervais titled after his tour Humanity, which was taped in London last year. “I can’t wait for Humanity to air so I can start all over again on a brand-new show,” Gervais said on the news. “Standup is my new favorite passion now, so it’s an absolute thrill to tour hundreds of wonderful cities and then be able to have it stream on the greatest platform in the world.” Gervais’s David Brent mockumentary Life on the Road also debuted on Netflix back in February 2017.
