One of the most fervent voices to emerge from Hollywood’s ongoing reckoning with sexual harassment and sexual assault, Rose McGowan is now the focus of E’s upcoming five-part docuseries, Citizen Rose. Following the actress’s recent activism, inspired in part by McGowan’s own alleged rape at the hands of disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein, the first trailer for the show depicts the exhausting, complicated, important pursuit of social justice. “I knew others were out there,” McGowan says in the clip. “And I knew it was a lot of us.” The limited series premieres on January 30.
