Move over, Steve Martin and Martin Short, because there’s another extremely exciting comedy special happening at Netflix. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the streaming network has added a standup special from Billy Eichner, which will also make his first standup special ever. The special, which is currently untitled, is described as “a unique blend of comedy and music that will cover politics, pop culture and may also include some brand-new editions of his signature, Emmy-nominated Billy on the Street segments.” No premiere date has been set, though it will reportedly be taped sometime later this year.
Eichner confirmed on Twitter that more Billy on the Street action is a very real possibility for the special:
