Frequent comedy collaborators Steve Martin and Martin Short have teamed up for a special at Netflix. On Twitter today (and after some technical hiccups), Steve Martin revealed that the two, who have been touring together in recent months, have taped a special for the streaming network, release date TBD. The special was taped at the Peace Center in Greenville, South Carolina and is titled after their tour: Steve Martin and Martin Short: An Evening You Will Forget for the Rest of Your Life. It will feature new material, musical sketches, and “conversations about their iconic careers, most memorable encounters, and of course, their legendary lives in show-business and standup,” plus music from The Steep Canyon Rangers and Jeff Babko.
Martin and Short join a growing list of big-name comedians to land Netflix specials including Jerry Seinfeld, Ellen DeGeneres, and most recently Chris Rock. Check out the announcement below:
