Amazon has ordered its first-ever animated series. According to The Wrap, the streaming network has given a series order to a half-hour animated dramedy titled Undone, which is co-created by BoJack Horseman creator Raphael Bob-Waksberg and writer/producer Kate Purdy. The series centers on Alma, “a woman who discovers she has a new relationship with time after a near-fatal car accident and uses the ability to find out the truth about her father’s death.” Rosa Salazar will voice Alma, while Angelique Cabral has signed on to voice her younger sister. Bob-Waksberg and Purdy will serve as co-executive producers on the series, and Dutch animator Hisko Hulsing will head up production design alongside an animation team based in the Netherlands. Bob-Waksberg offered up some high praise for Hisko’s style: “Hisko’s beautiful artwork and masterful use of light and color will create a look never seen before on a television show that will make audiences lose their minds.” The show will debut on Amazon sometime in 2019.
