So thought the creative team behind Roseanne’s upcoming revival, as the show recreated what was so loved about its previous opening: The extended Conner family gathering around their homey kitchen table to fool around and eat some grub. It’s relatable. It’s down-to-earth. It’s still soundtracked by a light, twangy tune. And damn, Laurie Metcalf looks the same!
