Peter Sarsgaard Needs to Work on His Elevator Pitch

By

Sundance is where deals are made. Everyone knows this. Independent producers are there to snare mainstream distributors with their artsy wares, and anyone in a blazer is very important and probably rich. Vulture’s Matt Rogers donned his best business blazer and asked Peter Sarsgaard to give an elevator pitch (a short, sexy description of a project designed to hook someone in the time it takes to ride an elevator) for his new film, Sound of Silence. His pitch would have to take place in the Petronas Towers or some similarly record-breakingly tall building.
