CBS has turned to some Jane the Virgin talent for a new comedy in the works. The network announced today that it’s handed out a pilot order to a multi-cam series from Jane the Virgin showrunner Jennie Snyder Urman and Will & Grace executive producer Alex Herschlag, with Jane the Virgin standout Jaime Camil set to star. The untitled series follows “an outrageously wealthy trust fund baby” who is cut off by his father, so “he and his wife move into her estranged sister’s Reseda condo, forcing the two siblings to reconnect.” Herschlag wrote the script and will executive produce alongside Urman and Camil.

In the meantime, Jane the Virgin returns for its fifth and final season on March 27, but between this CBS pilot and the CW spinoff series, it’s almost like we won’t have to say good-bye.
