Sex Education, the Netflix comedy series that is earning accolades for its frank depiction of sex in all its gross wonder, will begin production on season two this spring. The show stars Asa Butterfield as the “sex whisperer” of Moordale Secondary School, with support from Emma Mackey, Ncuti Gatwa, and Gillian Anderson. “The reception to series one has been so exciting. Seeing how people across the world have connected to characters that began as ideas in my head is incredible,” said series creator Laurie Nunn in a press release. “I can’t wait to continue this amazing journey.” One can only assume she means the journey of adding yet more saints to Netflix’s canon of awkward British boys who say “um, er” a lot.
